This series offers 45-minute virtual conversations with artists and thinkers in the vast world of dance.
Join Tara Mullins as she facilitates a conversation with dancers who are in STEM fields. Layla El-Khoury, who is working towards her M.S. in biological engineering with a water resources minor, will discuss her choreographic project that demonstrates stream erosion. Ashley Broderick, a recent alum and animal sciences major with a veterinary bioscience concentration, will discuss how dance provided tools for, and a break from, her studies. Both women will share how dance and the arts support their degrees, and how the creative process skills they hone in the dance studio are useful in their courses and research.
